SUPPORT FOR EVERY STEP

We understand that living with breast cancer and moving forwards into remission can be an emotional time. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, or navigating life in remission, it’s natural to feel a range of emotions. This page exists to help you handle your feelings, take good care of your mental health, and help you connect with available support platforms and organisations.

HANDLING EMOTIONS

Receiving a diagnosis of breast cancer, undergoing treatment and even attending appointments can bring about feelings of fear and uncertainty. It can be a scary time for many, but it’s important to know that all these emotions are valid. Your mental health is just as important as your physical health, and seeking support can make a significant difference in how you cope. Whether you’re struggling with anxious thoughts, low moods, or feelings of isolation, you don’t have to navigate them alone.

At Keep Ahead, we encourage you to take each day at your own pace. You may feel strong one day, but need a little more support the next. Remember, there’s no right or wrong way to process emotions during this time. Be kind to yourself as you figure out what helps you feel most comfortable.
